In this animation, we can see the stars that are located near our solar system, within a distance of 20 light-years. As the viewpoint rotates around the solar system, we can observe the density of stars in the surrounding region. The animation provides a unique perspective on the stars that are closest to us and how they are distributed in space. It is fascinating to consider the vastness of the universe and the countless stars that exist beyond our solar system. 

I used the wikipedia table of the nearest (closer than 20 light years) stars and brown dwarfs to map them.
